If you chose a password, however, you’ll be asked for your Xfinity username. If you chose a username, you’ll be asked to confirm your mobile number or Social Security number, just as if you were creating a new username. Click on whichever one you’d like to reset. On the login page, you’ll see two options near the bottom: “Forgot username or password?”. Step 4 – Recovering a Forgotten Username or Password Solely enter these onto the login page, and you’re done. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be allowed to choose a username and password. You can choose between receiving a text message or entering your Social Security number, but either way is fine. You’ll be asked to verify some of your personal details first. Just click the “Don’t have a username? Create one” link at the bottom of the page. If you’re a Comcast customer but haven’t taken advantage of the email service yet, you can also create a new email address here. Remember to enter the security code, too! If you followed the steps above, you’ll now see a login screen. This time, click the envelope icon in the top-right. Instead, you’ll be redirected to a page with news, weather, and so on. Believe it or not, this doesn’t take you straight to your inbox. Take a look at the top right of the screen – do you see the Email option? Click on it.
